What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Get in touch
If you use the ‘Get in touch’ form on the ‘Contact’ page of the website, then any information you provide (such as your name, email address, telephone number, etc) may be stored within our databases. We collect this as we see it as beneficially for both us and yourself as a potential (or existing) customer. We use the information to help to understand your needs and hope we can benefit you with our services.
We use Mail Chimp (www.mailchimp.com) as a resource for the club to keep in touch with customers. Data is stored on Mail Chimp for ease of communication between us and clients of past, present and future if consent has been given.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Who we share your data with
We may share your data with third parties, though it is unlikely. Any data shared with third parties (such as other suppliers within the print trade industry), will be for YOUR benefit only, such as your postal address for dealing with deliveries via a third party courier, or your telephone number to a trade finisher if for example, a supplier needs to discuss a job with you that you have ordered.
How long we retain your data
Once data is stored, it is saved for a certain amount of time which is dependant on other factors. If your data is saved with us and you become an active customer, then we will deem it necessary to retain your data (unless you opt-out) so that we can hopefully benefit your business (or other printing needs) via future communication through your data.
If we’ve not heard from you in 12 months, and don’t feel we 100% confident we will hear from you again in the near future, then we will remove your data permanently. We review each individual database actively to ensure no data is out of date to this given period.
What rights you have over your data
YOU have every right to opt-out of our databases at any point for any information. If you believe we may hold your personal data, then please email us email@example.com or call 01622 859667 and ask us to remove your data.
Where we send your data
Data may be sent to a third-party (check ‘who we share your data with’ above, for more info!) but most likely will be sent internally to colleagues who will use your data to contact you if we need to.
Your contact information
The information we store, will mainly be your contact information such as your forename, surname, telephone number(s), email address(s) and occasionally postal addresses.
Any additional information we MAY store will be your website, links to your social media pages (for businesses only), or perhaps important information that we need to know such as reminders or events.
How we protect your data
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. All databases are password protected as a minimum procedure.
Once your personal data is received, we store it safely, as set out in this Policy. We do not store any unnecessary financial information, however if you do provide this we encrypt it for additional security.
We cannot guarantee the complete security of our databases, nor that information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet.

Although we do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee that any transmission of data is without risk. We have therefore implemented information security policies and rules, staff training on information security, and technical measures to ensure the integrity of data that we have under our control.
All our employees, contractors and data processors (i.e. those third parties that process personal data on our behalf) are required to keep such data confidential and not to use it for any purpose other than the performance of services we have requested.
